OGA Members Invited to Participate in Zero Waste/Food Waste Reduction Webinars
Zero Waste in the Health Care Sector will be offered on Wednesday, June 29th and is the first in a series of zero waste webinars. Additional webinars will focus on zero waste in the Food/Beverage and Manufacturing industry. Mike Long, our Environmental Consultant/Expert and former Foundation Board Member will be a speaker for the first webinar. The Appalachia Ohio Zero Waste Initiative (AOZWI), a partnership in Southeastern Ohio between Ohio University’s CE3 housed at the Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs, and community organization Rural Action, is pleased to offer a series of zero waste webinars to explore how different industries are implementing waste minimization, waste diversion and recycling practices.
