Wright State University to Host First General Election Presidential Debate
(October 1, 2015) Last week, it was officially announced the first presidential debate of the General Election will be held in Ohio, at the Dayton institution of Wright State University. The Commission of Presidential Debates made the announced last Wednesday. This adds Ohio to the growing list of important election related events, including the Republican Nation Convention, to be held next July in Cleveland. Debate formats and other details will be announced in the future, according to the commission. Other general election debates include an Oct. 8 presidential debate at Washington University in St. Louis and a third Oct. 19 at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas. A vice presidential debate will take place Oct. 4 at Longwood University in Farmville, Va.
