Loss Prevention Summit – February 21-22, 2017
Loss prevention and store security issues are vital aspects of the food industry and retail business. OGA understands the importance of bringing our members together to discuss their shared concerns and best practices for solving problems, prioritizing safety and store savings.
This is why OGA Loss Prevention Committee meetings have been so important to many retailers and the associate members that support them. OGA member committees are free and open to both retail and associate members.
OGA invites you to attend our Loss Prevention Committee Summit on February 21 and 22. There will be a dinner and networking event on February 21st starting at 5:30pm at Champps Kitchen + Bar, followed by the LP meeting the next day on the 22nd from 8:30am – 12:30pm at Crimson Cup Coffee Innovation Center; 700 Alum Creek Drive, Cols, OH 43207.
2016 LP Summit
The 2016 Loss Prevention Summit was a huge success judging by the feedback and information provided. A great dinner at Brio provided ample networking opportunity with the informational summit the following morning. Presentations ranged from spotting counterfeit currency to taking active roles in preventing in-store and on-site theft (both consumer and employee). Attendees came from all over the state and represented community markets, independent grocers and large retailers to learn more about problems that plague the smallest through the largest members of our industry. Special thanks to our host Kroger for allowing us to hold the Summit at their Corporate Offices in Westerville. Stay in touch for more information about our next Loss Prevention Summit.
